RAFTING EXPEDITION ITINERARY
100 KM (Ganga) • 2 Nights/3Days
DAY 1 - ENTER THE WILD
- We start early and head towards the river, where our expedition team will get everyone ready for the journey. Before getting on the water, there will be a proper safety briefing and a quick check of all the rafting equipment.
- Once we’re on the river, the adventure begins. The first day takes us through a mix of exciting rapids, calmer stretches and beautiful Himalayan scenery that you simply cannot experience from the road.
- Around midday, we’ll stop at a suitable riverside beach for lunch and some time to relax. After lunch, we get back on the rafts and continue downstream, enjoying the changing landscape and river conditions along the way.
- By evening, we reach our first riverside campsite. After settling in, we’ll have dinner around the camp, spend some time around the bonfire and relax beside the river before calling it a night.
DAY 2 - THE HEART OF THE EXPEDITION
- Wake up to the sound of the river, have breakfast and get ready for another full day on the water.
- Day 2 is where the expedition really gets going. We’ll cover around 30–35 KM, moving through a changing mix of rapids, fast-flowing sections and calmer stretches. Along the way, the landscape becomes more dramatic, with rocky riverbanks, deep valleys and impressive Himalayan surroundings.
- We’ll stop somewhere along the river for lunch and a well-earned break before getting back on the rafts for the afternoon section.
- As the day comes to an end, we’ll arrive at our second riverside campsite. Dinner, a warm bonfire and a quiet evening by the river make for a perfect end to another long day of rafting.
DAY 3 - final 30 - 35 KM & FINISH
- After breakfast, we’ll pack up the campsite and prepare for the final day of the expedition.
- The last 30–35 KM brings another good mix of river sections, with the expedition team guiding you through the remaining rapids and stretches of the route.
- We’ll take a riverside lunch break during the journey before continuing towards the final take-out point. After three days on the Ganga, we finally reach the finish point and bring the rafting expedition to an end.
- From there, our vehicle will take you back to the designated drop-off point, carrying with you three days of river miles, camp nights, rapids and memories from the expedition.
